FIRST SPELL ♒ VIDEO

[The video feed clicks on to a relatively normal apartment room. There are no decorations anywhere, and it looks as though the resident hasn't gotten adjusted to it yet. For those of you familiar with the rooms within the Rocket base, this one might look a bit familiar.]

Good afternoon, Johto!

[The voice that cuts through the video is light, a bit high-pitched for a man, but quite charming. The camera turns to focus on a green-haired individual who waves. He's a bit too pale and practically sparkling with that dazzling smile; it seems he's quite pleased today.]

I suppose it's time I finally introduce myself, hmm~? My name is Abalon Demar! I've been looking for a way to return to Puffoon, but I suppose the technology on this planet is a bit backwards, isn't it? If there are any other members of the Space Police here, please get in contact with me immediately. I have a few jobs for you all~

[He pauses, pressing a finger to his lips in thought. Ah, right, there was something else he was going to mention!]

Also, as a general question; how do you take care of your hair without the use of magic? I would appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you!

[And with that, the feed clicks off.]

[...Except it flickers back to life a few moments later for those of you who have access to the Rocket feed.]

You know, Team Rocket is a horribly misleading name. Here I thought you all actually had a Rocket.

[All that charm is suddenly gone; Abalon looks irritated. He's practically pouting. It might have been cute on a child.]

Now then, if I understand correctly, this organization has some control over this Johto region, correct? I'm interested in these creatures that we can apparently tame - what all can you tell me about them?

[He turns the camera to focus on a clam who chirps sleepily.]

This is one of the creatures I was given. As you can see, it's completely worthless. I've been doing some research and it seems that these things "evolve" to become more powerful. Does anyone know how to get this particular one to evolve? I don't want to waste my time training something useless.

[After a moment he smiles again; it's clearly faked.]

Thank you ever so much for your time. I look forward to working with you all in the future!

[Yeah right. This time the feed ends for good.]
